Our Pain Management Physicians
Dr. Ted Ajax, was born in Belleville, Illinois. He earned both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Fuels Engineering from the University of Utah. Dr. Ajax earned his Doctorate of Medicine from University of Utah in 1986. He completed his internship in 1987 and his residency in 1990, both at the University of Iowa Hospitals under John Tinker, M.D.
Dr. Ajax earned a lifetime Board Certification from the American Board of Anesthesiology in 1991. He voluntarily underwent board recertification with the American Board of Anesthesiology in 2009. Dr. Ajax continues to receive advanced training and education related in the practice of clinical anesthesiology and pain management.
Dr. Catherine "Caety" Schmidt was born in Fort Worth, Texas. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1980 from Baylor University and earned her Medical Degree from the Baylor College of Medicine in 1983. Dr. Schmidt performed her internship at Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in 1985, completed her residency in Anethesiology at the University of Oklahoma in 1987, and earned her Fellowship in Anesthiesiology in 1988.
Dr. Schmidt obtained her lifetime Board Certification in 1988, however she voluntarily re-certified in 2009. Dr. Schmidt continually receives training in Anesthesia and Pain Managment procedures, as well as being the Chief of Anesthesiology at West Park Hospital, Medical Director at Northern Wyoming Surgical Center, and serves as President of the Wyoming Society of Anesthesiologists. |
